Plotting the new house
Whooo ... been a while since I posted here, mostly cause I haven't been doing much photography related other than start a new site.
What have I been up to instead? Well, work too much, mainly. I've also been buying houses. Well, one. We'll be moving in a month and a half or so (details are still being worked out).
Yesterday we went to measure the rooms and I made this floor plan which I figured I'd share with people:
That's the ground floor on the left with the first floor (second for you weird people that don't start counting at 0) to the top-right and the second (third) floor in the bottom-right. Not shown are the basement, second bathroom (even smaller than the first) and the garden and outhouse.
In total we'll have over twice as much room as we do in our little apartment now. Wow. What are we going to do with all that room? Well ...
The plan currently is to make bedroom 1 into an office/computer room. Bedroom 2 will function as a multi-purpose hobby room slash small photo studio. Bedroom 3 on the top floor will be our actual bedroom while, at least for the start, bedroom 4 will be a guest bedroom.
The kitchen and living room will fulfil their normal purpose, tho some area will be set aside for boardgames. In the long term we may convert part of the outhouse into a greenhouse for berries (yum).
